She - Charles Aznovour
L.O.V.E - Nat King Cole
Unchained Melody - Righteous Brothers
Dream a Little Dream of Me - Mama's and Papa's
Make Someone Happy - Jimmy Durante
I've Got You Under My Skin - Frank Sinatra
Dreams - The Cranberries
Only You - The Platters
Woman - John Lennon
Everlasting Love - ?

Another great wedding song is by Mariah Carey & Luther Vandross called "endless love" - have you heard it?

What happened to "here comes the bride" that was the only tune ever played at weddings in years gone by? Or am I showing my age...:(

I think I had the traditional wedding march played when I walked down the aisle 11 years ago but if I had the choice to do it again I think I'd choose a victorian, medieval or scottish theme with the music to go with it. There's so much more that people can choose from these days which is a good thing I think...

My best friend chose "Ava Maria", sung acapella by a pal with a rich baritone voice. Sent chills down my spine....it was an outdoor garden wedding and was surrealistic!

My daughter (ShellyC from ShellsandBeans) was married at home and had Canon playing softly in the background during the service. It was beautiful.

Several years ago, when she was working in Florida, I found a CD of Canon which included sounds of the sea. I posted it to her, without telling her about it, and on the day that she received it I received the exact same CD from her. How is that for telepathy? I have it playing as I write this (can you hear it? lol)

It sounds like you are having a great time organising this wedding.
