Name:
Location: Katoomba, NSW, Australia

here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

Plan ahead and dream of all the beautiful things that life has to offer

through the blogging glass

sometimes I just can't help myself ! peeking at other peoples favourite blogs ~ sometimes I am pleasantly surprised ~ take for instance this gorgeous blog windows to our world that I found via Alice ~ the pictures are just as I imagined that Heidi would have seen when she lived with the Alm uncle in Switzerland

What a thrill to know that you also found Windows to our World. The photos are just so typically Swiss, which is why I love the country so much. If you go back and look at the photos of the hike the boys took, you will see a photo of a village surrounding by lush green hills (aren't they all?). I'm now using that photo as my desktop picture. My husband sat down at the computer and said "WHERE did you get that photo?" He loves the country as much as I do. It's real storybook scenery.

In fact, if you look at all the photos on 'Windows to our World' for the blogs dated 30.06.05, you will want to get over there as quickly as possible! Imagine all that snow in summer, although I understand there's not as much as there was years ago. Global Warming again.

Oh yes, the countryside looks beautiful. I would love to live amidst rolling green hills and cow paddocks. *laughs* But it is the city life for me for a while, although I'm lucky to live in a very pretty 'green' suburb - there is even a rainforest creek walk ten minutes walk from my house that I do at least once a week. I actually love the south island of New Zealand for the beautiful lush green fields and amazing landscapes - soooo pretty.
