here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

ms*louisas' wedding ~ July 15

today we are off to Sydney for the first wedding dress fitting. We are catching the train & will have lunch somewhere scrumptious. The city isn't one of my favourite places but when I do go I have a lovely time & very grateful when I can come home to my lovely nest.

I have been reading your blog for a while and finally popped in to say hello. Planning a wedding has to be exciting, scary, and beautiful all rolled into one. I know it is only a matter of time before I am doing the same. My almost 21 year old daughter has said she will wait but you know how THAT goes. Good luck and try to enjoy the process.

I hope it was a really good day for you and Louisa. Guess you're home by now, eh?, and have relaxed since getting back. Taking the train sounds all wonderful in itself!
