housekeeping ~ July 11

routine ~ that really could be my middle name. I do love to have a routine - helps me keep on top of things. I do my chores in the morning and the afternoon is mine to do whatever I please be it gardening * reading or sewing or just being

Mondays I clean both the bathrooms * change our sheets and dust & vacuum our bedroom. I like to really scrub the bathrooms once a week that way I don't have to do a major springclean. I find that if I do them each week thoroughly, then when spring comes around, it isn't a huge chore to get it all done. I clean my bath & shower with a green cleaner * use vinegar instead of disenfectant * bicarb & vinegar for the toilets and peppermint oil & white vinegar in hot water to wash the floors ~ Monday is also the day that I wash my towels & sheets ~ so they are hanging on the line this very moment!!
