Name:
Location: Katoomba, NSW, Australia

here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

Plan ahead and dream of all the beautiful things that life has to offer

I found a whole lot of vintage glass icecream bowls awhile back and today I used one to put a tealight in, on my kitchen dresser ** quaint **

oh, I just had to come back on and say that last week after spending the day cleaning, I lit a few tealights around the house and dimmed the electric lights. It all looked so sparkly and pretty, and rather romantic, but the mood was short lived...first 13 year old comes out of his room and says "what's happened to the lights?" when I replied "nothing, and don't you think this looks pretty & relaxing?", he replied, "nope, just spooky". Then about an hour later when step son gets home from work...scratching his head he says "what's with the candles?" ~ by this point I just rolled my eyes at hubby, and gritted my teeth. Dear hubby just went on to explain that it was all relaxing and soothing and that they could go into their own bedrooms and turn on their lights.

Later on in bed we both had a good chuckle about it ~ at least my darling loves and appreciates my efforts...Boys! :)

I always enjoy peeking inside your house. My husband left me the camera today and I might putter around and make things pretty here too.

Again feeling inspired after visiting you here.
