living ~ July 5

oh what a gorgeous day today has been ! I did a few loads of washing and hung them out * cleaned daughters' bedroom - changing her sheets * dusting and vacuuming her room can be a mammoth task sometimes! and at lunch time, I made myself a sandwich & a cup of tea and took it out onto my front verandah and read. Winter sun can be so warming - reaching into cold bones * warming from the inside out. I see little skinks basking in the sun in my garden as well - the winter sun is good for all !

Ok, I just have to ask, what are skinks? Are they some type of lizard?

yes Amy, they are little lizards about 4 - 6" long. There are alot in my garden and they eat pests.
