TA-DA !! the unveiling of a new blog

I have noticed at times while reading your blogs, that lots of us need prayers *oh I know, we all need prayers but sometimes we need extra - whether it be for illness or major upheavals in our lives & sometimes our world needs prayers & healing. I felt compelled to start a blog just for that - a gorgeous place full of love & healing - where we can have the world wrapped in prayer - gently cocooned in angel wings - doesn't matter what faith or belief you have - God hears all. sometimes prayers will be directed to a specific saint or sometimes an angel who I think may be able to help. or even someone from another culture - my favourite at the moment is Quan Yin - the goddess of compassion (you see, I believe that there are many paths one heaven)
oh and please, please feel free to put this on your blog and if you wish, also on your sidebar
don't hesitate to email me if you would like something or someone included

prayer requests

That is such a lovely idea, Robyn - and so typical of you to think of it. I'm sure many, many people will appreciate it.

(I tried to access it through Prayer Requests but unsuccessfully.)

I wondered what you were up to when I saw this new link earlier... what a wonderful idea! And shall we add a prayer request for you right now? A prayer of thanks and blessing that you have done this. What a kind soul -- we can all benefit from this, I'm sure!

ms*robyn: You have to be one of the kindest, gentlest and caring souls on the planet. Only you could think of such a wonderful way to spread prayers. This kinda replaces the old telephone prayer chain. Kudos to you dear one!

perfect idea Ms. Robyn! We all are in need of prayers and angel's help at times. Now we have a way for our friends to pray for us and us for them. Plus you know which saint to call in for our need... thank you!

Dear Robyn, I am saddened to read this post. Prayer is vital to a believer in Jesus Christ. The Bible plainly teaches that Jesus is the only one qualified, very God himself, who can hear and answer prayer. "For there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" I Timothy chapter 2 verse5. No angel or anyone else died for our sins or can claim to be the son of God. Exodus 20:3 says, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me". Putting anyone in the place of God is wrong according to God himself. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6. He also says in 15:7, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." Ye must be born again...nowhere in the scripture are we directed to pray to angels or anyone but Jesus Christ. The Bible teachs there are not many ways to heaven, only one and that one is Jesus, who states... " I am the way, the truth and the life....."Matthew 7:14, Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Jesus is the one who died in my place on Calvary's cruel cross to save me from hell and take me to heaven. He alone is worthy to be worshipped and prayed to. My heart and my prayers belong to Jesus Christ alone. "So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God"...Romans 10:17 The Bible clearly teaches that praying to angels or anyone but Christ Jesus or God...living or dead, will not be accepted by God. And before our prayers are heard by God, we must come to have a saving knowledge of the Lord Jeus Christ, how he was born of a virgin and hearing the gospel... how Christ died for sinners, was buried and rose from the dead. He was seen by many people before he ascended unto his Father...God. ("...while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight." Acts 1:9) Romans 10:9.."That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." I'm sharing these Bible truths that God has opened my eyes and heart to and my hope is that each person will be guided by the truth, and that absolute is God and Christ...the living Word.
