About Me
- Name: Miss Robyn
- Location: Katoomba, NSW, Australia
here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

Monday is my day for blessing my home too! I enjoyed it today, as I have rearranged my schedule a little bit to allow me more time to do other things - I whizzed through in a couple of hours and it sparkled! Until the kids came home :(
Sounds so lovely!Do you fancy coming and giving one of my bedrooms the Ms Robyn touch?I am so demotivated this week.Tiredness I think!
Ahhh, Robyn ~ it sounds wonderful...I can even smell those fresh sheets!
I have come to love Mondays, as the house becomes all clean and organised again ~ and I love that feeling...nothing like getting stuck into it to help blow my minds cobwebs away.
I get the same way....compute and compute then rush about feeling guilty as hell that I should have been doing something in the house...I then 'pretend' that I did lots of stuff in the hose....yes the computer is a wonderful trap! How about giving it up for lent ms robyn? (lol....just joking in case you just broke out in a sweat!!)
sorry - that should read....in the 'house' not hose....typo!!
hopefully my angels will give me a push this morning to get started on my cleaning. Am giving the kitchen a spring cleaning so if you don't hear from me I got lost in all the clutter.
Mondays are hard days for me to get motivated...but they are the days that I too...bless my home! Sounds like you have a wonderful jump on your day....Lets all get together and bless each others' homes...wouldn't that be a kick!!!
Enjoy you day MsRobyn...xo
hmm Lavender spray on a bed, I must try that. Thanks!
I can relate to everything you wrote. I'm shutting this thing off NOW and getting to work. If I don't, I'll end up doing housework until midnight, and never get around to sewing!!! At least I've had the beds airing for a while already, and the sheets are ironed and scented... just have to get them on the bed and one thing is completed!
Housekeeping is something that I have to be in the right frame of mind for, but whatever state I'm in, I usually find it very cathartic. It often helps to tackle one area at a time, so you can step back and think "I love it", I also like mopping and scrubbing floors by hand (in a sane way, of course!) hehe
Enjoy your sunshine-smelling sheets!
Oh those gardenias sound wonderful. Yes, those computers are a time thief, aren't they. Sometimes now I'm posting every other day because of that. It works....smile. Lovely post, Robyn!
