a happy St. Patricks day to you

May the Irish hills caress you.
May her lakes and rivers bless you.
May the luck of the Irish enfold you.
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.

did you know, that in years gone by - if St. Patricks day fell during lent, it was one of the only days you could be married on? the other being the feast of St Joseph - now, I don't know if this is fact but a little old lady told me that yesterday.

hoping you all have a Happy St. Pat's day - whether you celebrate it or not! xox

Ms Robyn, I think that is probably right about the weddings. Can't remember the bit about the feast days but I do remember the queue of brides waiting for Easter Monday because there were no weddings in Lent. BTW, have just got to the link re the ya ya name. I'm Queen Sassy Mouth. Have posted at The Trad Pad at http://tradpad.blogspot.com
