here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. housekeeping

yes * I still do the housework during December * same routine..otherwise I would go mental. So as you all MUST know by now, today - Monday is bathroom & our bedroom day. And yes - I still vacuum the mattress each week - mainly to get the dust of it and then I spray the mattress with the lavender water and let it air for an hour or two while I clean. It's just something I do - odd ? hmm, maybe, but that's me
During December, each afternoon, I light a votive in my bedroom - the perfume ? - cinnamon & plum - the most exquisite Christmas candle I have found. I love it !!! Usually I put up a little tree in my bedroom but this year for simplicity I am going to stick to just the candle.......

cinnamon and plum...is that a candle fromthe dusk store? it sounds just divine. I used to put a small tree in our bedroom but dh did not like that for some reason, so maybe a beautiful candle would be a great comprimise.
I did go to kindered spirits...lovely place, but does that kit come with all the bits? or just the pattern for the tree what is exactly included in that price? sorry for such long post here!

I am burning apple and cinnamon candles but am really enjoying my cinnamon bun candle from Dixie except it makes me hungry!

Oh that sounds so tranquil...a freshly cleaned bedroom scented with delicious fragrance...and a little tree for private enjoyment too! Right now, my dressers are crammed with the floral decorations that were displaced when I put up the Christmas decorations. So, I'll enjoy yours via blogland I think....*smile* Knowing how to enjoy life is priceless.....*smile*
