Name:
Location: Katoomba, NSW, Australia

here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

Plan ahead and dream of all the beautiful things that life has to offer

it's beginning to look alot like Christmas

yesterday, I put the tree up in my dining room. Years ago when I lived in another home, I had a vintage *kooka* stove - just for decoration. And I would sit the tree on top of that * but in this house it sits on an old cane table with a vintage tablecloth wrapped around the base.
Most of the decorations on this tree are hand*made. There are santas & gingerbread men & angels * baubles & reindeer & snowmen - all handmade by me & all marked the year they were made. I have added a string of clear baubles and some little lights & a few special decorations that I bought when I travelled to the US a few years ago.

Oh Robyn I like your tree with all the handmade things very much! With Alisons words it looks absolutely scrumptious :D (I can also spot an easter bunny with very long ears lol) And I second "garden girl", would like to have a closer look at your hand sewed and stitched picture in the background too.

that 'hand made thing' behind the tree is actually a memory tree - from a pattern by a wonderful pair of women who live in Ohio - their business is called 'Kindred Spirits" & yes I will take a photo and post it but it probably won't be til after Christmas as the tree is kinda in the way
