Christmas housekeeping @ ms*robyn's
Then I will get stuck into getting things done for Christmas day - I need to make jelly for the trifle, fruit compote for breakfast, cook the cauliflower for the cauliflower au gratin & get my home in tip top shape for Christmas day * putting my cinnamon & plum votives in lots of places and lighting them for today * I love to have the perfume in my home, the day before Christmas as well * I play music, usually something peaceful & soul moving.

you put jelly in your trifle? I must try that one, usually I use custard and whipped cream.
Hot and windy again here too, Robyn. My poor little tomato plant in its pot keeps getting blown over. It has two little green tomatoes hanging on for dear life, so I keep watering and feeding it, and trying to find a spot in the yard out of the wind - impossible!
It's a bit cooler here today. The mercury didn't get below 27 degrees last night in the house, but I see at lunchtime it was down to 25 degrees. It's been trying to rain but not very convincingly so it gives up and the sun comes out again. At least the breeze is a little cooler today, too. Forecast of 26 degrees tomorrow here.
I do hope it's not too hot in Woodford so that you, your family and your many guests can enjoy what I know will be a superbly cooked and presented Christmas dinner.
With love to you at Christmas, Robyn.
