Location: Katoomba, NSW, Australia

here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

pampering ones*self at Christmas time

time to de-stress and pamper yourself !!!
take 2 cups of sea salt and 1 cup of epsom salts and tip in a vintage glass mixing bowl * mix in 3 drops each of lavender * sandalwood & rose oils. mix well ~ stir in one handful of dried rose petals & place in an old glass jar with lid.
to use * just add a handful to a warm bath
so tonight - first of all give yourself a good old dry brush exfolitation - starting at your feet, gently brush upwards with a loofah * using quick strokes up towards the heart. Then jump in a shower, give yourself a quick wash using a favourite cake of soap or body wash.
then :
* light some perfumed tea light candles * turn the lights down low * step into the bath and relax.....
oh and don't forget to tell the family this is YOUR time.
Enjoy it !!
