my wonderful day ~ July 27

Today, instead of housekeeping, I went out with my patchwork friends. We drove to Balmain * an inner city suburb* and did some serious shopping. Quite a few home decorator shops ~ very french & oh so nice. I bought some absolutely divine almond cream soap * some lovely note paper with french rabbits on it & the most delightful retro style blouse. Oh ! and a vintage style flower bobby pin for my hair. I could have spent lots more time & money but will go back with my daughters one day soon.
Then we went to a friends pub for lunch * pate de fois * a tiny scallop wrapped in bacon & prunes * pumpkin & asparagus risotto for my main and for dessert I had berry & vanilla bean panacotta..delish and there goes my diet.....ah well walking it will have to be for the next few days.

Your outing sounds wonderful. Do French rabbits look any different to Australian rabbits?
