vintage cleaning ~ July

Lavender is probably my housekeeping signature scent. It smells so fresh ! I like to use this spray on my bathroom and it is perfect for spraying in the toilet bowl.. lavender is very antiseptic and smells much nicer than those chemicals we are urged to use.

mix 1 cup water & 1 teaspoon pure essential oil of lavender in a spray bottle, shake vigorously to mix.
Spray on surfaces * no need to rinse
Keeps indefinitely.

I just love the smell of lavender. Did you know that if you sprinkle a few drops of lavender oil into your vacuum cleaner it makes the carpet in your house smell lovely?

I just wrote down your recipe for lavender water. My daughter and I both love the fragrance. A friend of hers got her a bottle of lavender something?? that you add to your rinse cycle to give your sheets that heavenly smell. She said it made the best birthday gift = )
