Name:
Location: Katoomba, NSW, Australia

here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

Plan ahead and dream of all the beautiful things that life has to offer

February 08, 2006

tomorrow is another day

Sleep oh blessed sleep,
the place where I can dream,
of all that I do need
my energy to keep.

Sleep oh blessed sleep,
The place of future hope,
in places far away,
and love for me to keep

Sleep oh blessed sleep
Lull me with your content,
Keep me ever safe my
souls sanity to keep.

Sleep oh blessed sleep,
Let me emerge at morn,
With clearer thought and mind,
with no more need to weep

What a lovely poem :-) Worry not about your 1950's post, it wasn't offensive in the slightest (can you tell I'm behind the times when it comes to commenting?!). A relationship in these enlightened days is all about give and take, I think all good things are! And of course, love :-)

ryc: yes, we decided to actually tie the knot not so long ago (after being engaged for over 2 years), and what a lovely decision it was!
But there is so much to plan! Heavens, I don't know where to start!

This lovely poem is so apt.Don't fret so. Remember the bigger picture. If the bigger picture is foggy hold onto the dream.I loved the 1950's post even the no questions asked. It shows a remarkable level of trust. We need more trust in the world both in each other and ourselves.Lastly only a true vintage girl would worry whether she was or not!
