here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

grow up ! who me?

do you ever go outside, very adult like.... walking to get something, maybe from the car or clothes of the line and all of a sudden ! you get spooked & you run so fast to the door without looking back, cause you are sure there is something or someone chasing after you? And you don't think you are going to make it before what ever it is grabs you. Your heart is beating so fast and you are holding your breath and scared witless. happens to me all the time

This still happens to me in the basement of our home. I was always frightend when I was a child and I still get spooked and run up the stairs really fast. Always thinking I left the monster behind and now I am safe.

We need to carry a collapsible bat with up. lol.

I was that way all the time until I was about 45 years old and after that I am the one that goes outside after dark to check a noise or look in the closet for the axe murderer my daughter always thinks is there LOL. I did keep looking night before last for a ghost my neighbor saw ( will post about it)

I only feel like that if I'm coming home after dark alone...which thankfully is very rare. I always feel so safe when my husband is nearby. I hate it though when I decide to go outside after dark to get something I have left in the car. Thats where those motion detector lights are a girl's best friend...smile.

Sometimes I can be scared of the dark... depends on what I've been reading or watching on television. But yes, I get spooked exactly the same way, and it sure does make my heart pound! I like Connie's collapsible bat idea! Dear Robyn, you have put goosebumps up my spine. See, it doesn't take much. :o
