Name:
Location: Katoomba, NSW, Australia

here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

Plan ahead and dream of all the beautiful things that life has to offer

what a lovely idea !

have found some wonderful vintage-type ideas while I have been journalling.

find some vintage bottles * some pages from old books or letters * vintage stamps & vintage ribbons. cut a label out of the pages, glue it to the bottle along with a stamp. Tie a gorgeous little bow around the rim and use for a bud vase. exquisite

That sounds too cute! I can't wait til the house is finished and I can have some pretties in it, instead of the messy renovation-style of decorating that's happening at the moment LOL

What a lovely idea.

BTW - how many days into the cruise will it be before you start hankering to spend just 5 minutes on the ship's computer? I think Joe might have to chain you to the railing at the first sign of Blog Withdrawal... lol.

Sounds lovely!
It reminds of a little goodie I came up with after finding so many sweet old oil and vinegar cruets with unique crystal top stoppers. I buy them, wash them well, and fill them with my favorite bath oils and bubble bath soap. I have a gallery railing above my mirror and medicine cabinet in the bath and they are so pretty lined up there with their many colors! I should take a picture and post it on my blog. Maybe soon....
