Name:
Location: Katoomba, NSW, Australia

here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

my boy

my boy is now a man - a husband and a dad to two little boys. He is a volunteer bush fire fighter and today he was called out to a fire burning out of control in the west of NSW - he will be gone for 5 days, so I won't get to see him before I sail on Saturday. He came to say bye to me this morning. I am so proud of him! But when do we stop worrying about our children?

NEVER!

God bless your son and keep him and the other firefighters safe. We rely on them so much, almost as though they are Supermen, yet they are just as human as the rest of us but have chosen to unselfishly put themselves on the line for all the community. Thank you to them all.

I'm not a mum, but I take my (proverbial) hat off to your son, and all the other firefighters. I feel I could kill with my bare hands, those fiends who set fires deliberately.

Oh Robyn ~ May he be safe fighting those fires, being such a brave person and helping the threatened communities...I am in awe of such people and take of my hat to them in thanks.
I always think about who they are, their families and say a prayer...now I will be praying for your son and you all. **HUGS**

You Don't!! All you can do is love him and be proud of him - says me with a six year old arguing that he doesn't want to clean his room.

I shall be praying and thinking of both you and your son and his family.
