day to day living at Christmas time

busy * busy * busy - that is my day today ! First * I am off outside to garden - then after lunch I am going to Leura for afternoon tea with my soul mate & the newly weds. A little bit of Christmas shopping and then have to pop in and visit a friend - her mum passed away this year and she wants to buy a vintage statue of Mary - being the obsessive collector that I am * I have a few * so I thought I would give her one of mine ......it is hard to give things like this away but - well * sometimes you just do these things, don't you?
then tonight ~ we decorate our tree - it is in the tub right now, drinking up the water, settling in readiness to be dressed in all its finery !
