'after all * tomorrow is another day'

in those most famous words of ms*scarlett

I am off to bed after a truly dreadful day. after all the dramas of the bike accident, we received word today that ms*sophie had fallen while skiing and had severe tissue damage to her wrist * no breaks * thank Heaven. Her wrist is now strapped and she is taking pain meds * she will be home tomorrow. I just laughed hysterically when I heard like a woman demented.....they must have thought I was nuts

Sleep is all you need just now...and just think, Joe and Sophie can sympathize with one another, comparing injuries.

Sorry, trying to be silly because I can totally understand your hysteria.

What a day you had! I know it sounds trite to say that both injuries (to Joe and Sophie) could have been much worse but one doesn't tend to think of that, at the time. I hope that both of them heal up quickly and completely.

Not sure what your weather is at the moment, though I suspect you have had a couple of glorious Spring-like days, too. Just think, there's lots more of them just around the corner. You'll be able to potter around your beautiful garden to your heart's content.

Wishing ALL the family good health and happiness.

I have just seen your post too, Robyn. Oh you poor dear. I can relate to a bad day like that. Ken was in hospital nearly four years ago, in intensive care. While he was in there, all in one day he had a heart attack, lung collapse, and kidney failure, and wasn't expected to live. Guess what day it was? 9/11. He survived, but I would not want another day like that. Hope Sophie recovers quickly...how is Joe going? You haven't said much about him...
