autumn

ahh autumn is here * this morning I noticed that the leaves have started to turn - gorgeous colours already! I love the slight nip in the air * the shorter days * the anticipation of winter just around the corner * the afternoon walks where I have to pull the cardi a little closer to keep the chill at bay * love it!

There is a still nip in the air here but it is springtime. I've enjoyed wandering round smelling the beautiful scents of the spring flowers. It is weird to think that it is autumn over there.

Wonderful post ....I love Autumn...love the colors and the nip in the air...never have been a Spring time person..but as I have gotten older I have great appreciation for all seasons, and have learned to celebrate them with my rituals and routines that usher the change of season. Enjoy your day dear..xo

I will think of you and your autumn with warm fires and hot tea as it gets hotter here.. I am a winter person that loves the cold weather. Even though I enjoy gardening and all the flowers I would trade it for winter!

Autumn (or fall as we call it) was my mother's favorite. Mine is definitely our NY summer. I think you'd love it too Robyn. It's not scorching like yours can be. Great for gardening, but I'd love to have a longer growing season.
Love hearing your cozy descriptions of autumn. Ours is like a picture postcard....so beautiful when the trees turn to their fall colors.
