here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Just looked at the pretties on Sally Jean's site. I recognized that the charms are soldered. Very nice job by the way *smile*. What I'm wondering is if there is any lead in these. Regular solder does contain lead. You can buy and use a lead free solder but its very tricky to work with. Before anyone buys...it would be a good question to ask...does the solder contain lead? Just my thoughts on these pretty things. I made myself a gorgeous (i think) brooch of cobalt blue glass only to be told I shouldn't wear it because the solder contains lead.
