Name:
Location: Katoomba, NSW, Australia

here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

Plan ahead and dream of all the beautiful things that life has to offer

Halloween

Halloween isn't something we celebrate here in Australia
* oh we have a few neighbourhood children come around
and I have sweets in a basket in my foyer * but we don't decorate.
so to those of you who do celebrate -
I hope you have lots of fun
* lots of treats and not too many tricks
BOO

We don't celebrate it much here either, so far it's been pretty quiet here tonight.

I don't really consider celebrating it either and I live in the US. We add a little fall decorations, which includes a pumpkin or two and let the kids go tricker or treating. It fun to see some of the house go all out.

I limit my blogging, to about once or twice a week. I get to still meet and share interest with other blogs but I do have a wonderful life and more important obligations that need my attention. I guess it's all about time management. When I visit I don't always leave a comment. I guess maybe that is something I should do, but I don't.

That's funny. It said, I didn't type the word verification correctly so I redid it and it posted my comment twice.

I am sitting here waiting on the kiddos to come get all that yucky hard candy I bought...I only buy stuff I would not enjoy eating. ;-)
Then, we are going to see the Pumpkin House...a sweet Victorian home in W. Va. and the family decorates their home and yard with over 3500 carved pumpkins! It is amazing and folks from as far away as Japan have visited to see it. It made top 4 pumpkin houses in the US, I think. I will try to post pics on my blog...but it may be Christmas by the time I do, LOL. I miss Halloween from days gone by and we celebrated in a grand way with my daughter. We enjoyed going to Fall Fest at our church and I was one of those overly-involved mommies....you know the type. Face painting, refreshments, games, etc....I was in on all of it and loved it! How I miss the mommy-days.......Baby Girl is almost 21!!
