About Me
- Name: Miss Robyn
- Location: Katoomba, NSW, Australia
here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

I've already started to think about what type of lounge we are going to have once we move into our own home Robyn. I am a big comfort fan, and would really love something really big and squishy! Hubby likes leather though, so who knows what we will end up with? I can't wait to see what you end up getting. We have our wood fire on continuously now it's so cold...Mark keeps it going and always nice and clean, and it's amazing how warm and cozy it keeps this whole house. He'll be jealous if you end up getting snow tonight ~ he can't wait til we get colder!!
June 22 - I wonder if you did get snow? You know we had such long, beautiful autumn and it was a shame that we couldn't appreciate it because we all wanted it to rain so much. Now that it has, and the weather has turned cold, I think people are enjoying winter like they never have before.
You keep mentioning the wood fire and I wish I had one. I wouldn't mind cleaning it or chopping the wood. My husband used to chop wood for hours at my parents farm and it saved them having to do it when they got older. I'd love a big old wood stove, too. Still need my electric one for the hot summer days, though.
