just before I go to bed, I just had to let you all know that it is snowing !!! My fire is all stoked up and hopefully it will go all night so that I will wake to a warm cosy home in the morning.

Yes, it's snowing here too. It's a shame that it's dark because I'd like to take some photos. Perhaps it will still be there in the morning.
My goodness that sounds cozy, esp. as we drip in 90 degree heat here! And your Spring is right around the corner. What a wonderful surprise for you!

That picture is so pretty. I just love your blog. I finally looked at the birthday pictures, how fun! I noticed the redwork on the shelf...lovely and I wondor...would you mind posting a close-up of the pillow on your couch with the embroidered? lady on it? Just ignore that request if you want, I'll like you just the same = ).
I envy you and your snow! As much as I love flowers and gardening I would take snow every day if I could! there's something about a warm fire, cozy cottage, hot tea and snow outside..... thanks for giving me a pleasant thought for the day.

i heard that you guys in OZ were getting snow ... :o) ... it is a normal happening in Canada, but i guess even in your winter, it is unusual ... hope you had fun in it!
